Rest Day
Each Sunday is a Rest Day. There is no new Bible reading to do. Today, the goal is simple: rest in the presence of God. Maybe you need to use today to get caught up on the reading plan if you’re behind, maybe you want to journal what you’re learning so you don’t forget what God is teaching you, or maybe you want to spend time in concentrated prayer–do that. Above all, just spend time in God’s presence.
Each Rest Day, we will have an additional element. Sometimes it will be extra resources to further your study, a video to watch, or a podcast to listen to. Sometimes we’ll have a verse to commit to memorize to help you hide God’s Word in your heart.
We’re also introducing a brand new Family Guide that will help those of you with kids discuss what you’re reading and learning with your kids! It will help us review what we read the previous week!

Wow! This is a cool addition to the Bible Reading Plan!
PS – I earned my Hebrews 10:23-25 Harris Creek keychain today!
Bible memorization has become an important spiritual discipline for me over the past year. I highly recommend it!
If you’re looking for some tools, the Bible Memory app has been a great way to learn and keep track. Also, in Spotify, there is a “Scripture Memory songs” playlist with almost 400 Bible passages set to catchy tunes!
If only this would have been available when raising my family. Very valuable.
Love this!
